| Marošek: The girls must not stop working hard |

The Czech Republic has won the first medal from the U19 Women's World Floorball Championships. The successful battle was coached from the bench by Michal Marošek, for whom it was the second WFC in the role of a coach. Two years ago he led his team to the fifth position. This year's goal was clear – the medals.
How would you evaluate the today's game? I'm maximally satisfied. We had a good start of the game, then there came Žůrková's injury, which made our players a bit nervous, but we managed to recover, scored a few goals and kept on playing. We managed to make it to the victorious end.
You have the bronze medals. Are you satisfied with the result? Of course! I'm absolutely satisfied!
How do you see the players' future? Do you think they have a chance to play in the women's national team, for example? I can definitely imagine that players like Tereza Urbánková might become the national team's key players. It's important for the girls not to stop working hard.
What is it that the Czech Republic misses in comparison with the Nordic top teams? Well, that would be for a longer discussion. But people who paid attention to the games of the Scandinavian teams could see that if those teams are leading by, let's say, 4:1, they are able to score more goals from the wings and keep the game under control, whereas we rather tend to calm down a bit. In this respect and also in their individual skills they are still one step ahead of us.
How about the U19 women's national team? Does the Czech Republic have enough gifted players to, for example, repeat the medal success in two years again? Definitely. Even though we knew that we wouldn't be able to use the younger players at this championship, we kept taking them to other tournaments and there they showed good performances. We have quite a lot of players to choose from and the new coaching duo, or trio, will definitely be able to make a good selection. I am positive about the future.
You have been coaching the team for four years already. Will you continue? No, I am leaving the U19 women's national team due to personal reasons. I cannot talk for the rest of the coaching staff but I am definitely leaving!
