Brigitte Mischler: They were simply shooting more… Print E-mail

It took her a while to pluck up courage to communicate after the lost game. The disappointment was apparent. Switzerland came to defend the title and despite this was the first championship for Brigitte Mischler, her objective was the same. And now she will have to do with the bronze medal game against the Czech national team.

You must surely be disappointed, but still I would like to ask you what your feelings from the game are...

It was a very tough match. We did our best and played until the very end... We didn't succeed, though.

In what aspects were you worse than your opponents? What did you miss?

They were simply shooting more… (very sadly).

Did you worry about your new piercing during the game?

(looks up in a terrified way and then stars laughing) No, no. It was all right! (points at the place safely secured with a tape)

You were the best scorer in your league, while here...

(interrupts) I'm playing terribly here!

So, let's put it the other way round, why do you pass more than you shoot?

I'm not having a good championship, I'm playing terribly! (she repeats sadly)

Thank you for the interview...
