In the Finnish top division she led her team SB-Pro all the way to the final, where they did not succeed, however. Now she is leading the Finnish national team to another medal success. As the floorball experience indicates: field players decide the preliminary group stage, goalies decide the play-offs. And the Finnish goalkeeper is having a great year in the crease, which she has been proving in Olomouc as well.

It took her a while to pluck up courage to communicate after the lost game. The disappointment was apparent. Switzerland came to defend the title and despite this was the first championship for Brigitte Mischler, her objective was the same. Finland entered the second semifinal better. Already after 24 seconds Jenni Tikkanen scored a surprising goal after a big mistake by the goalie Lohrer. But less than a minute later the Finnish defence left too much space to Rüttimann. The fact that leaving space to this player is not a good idea was confirmed by her equalizer. And another bright moment of the player wearing number 10 on her jersey came at the very beginning of the sixth minute. First, she looked as if she was not interested in the game at all, but eventually the ball found its way to her and the Swiss scorer sent it into the net behind Loisa.

Immediately after the game, in which she was selected the best player of her team, Jenny Gustafsson was full of joy. It was apparent how glad she was her team made it to the final again. Although, nobody had actually expected anything else. The super-favourite of the tournament won by 12:3, also thanks to her accurate shots from a distance.

Encounter between Hungary and Russia, that was the final of Division B of the U19 Women's World Championship 2010 in Olomouc. The Hungarians were entering the game unbeaten, as the winners of the group. On the other hand, Russia lost only once, 3:5 to Hungary.

The first Friday semifinal featured the teams of Sweden and the Czech Republic. The very beginning of the game was under control of the Swedes, with Wibron scoring after 27 seconds. Only a minute later, however, Frida Lindgren was penalized and Bočanová converted the power play. Nevertheless, Sweden did not have to wait for too long and went into the lead again after a goal by Gustafsson. Horňáková managed to touch the ball, but could not keep it in front of the goal line. Sweden went into a two-goal lead after a combination by the Lindgren twins. At the end of the period, Horňáková showed several great saves and saved the hopes of the Czech team for a good result.
